ON THE AIR sneak preview

The BBC's ON THE AIR third season will air sometime around Christmas, it seems, and you can catch a sneak peek in this exclusive trailer. The 2D animation is by me with character setup and rigging done by the fantastic folks at Club Cocoanut, and the stop motion and production design is by the Belfast animation studio of Flickerpix.




In other news, my good friends Chris Hanily, Brett Zabel, Tad Allard and I just got back from running the Tucson Marathon this weekend. Happily we all finished and can still walk, for the most part. I'll post a couple of pictures soon. Congratulations, guys!

Running and a new (so new it's rough!) strip.

Training update! We've got four runs in over the past two weeks, roughly 5.25 miles per run. Things are going well, with no chafing or cardiac episodes! Terrible time of the year to try and get back into the swing of it, though: exceedingly humid and hot, so it's a real chore to get out there and go. But get out there and go we do. Going to see if my dad's up for running the Excelsior Firecracker Run with me.

In other news, there's a new strip up over at Working The Void: so new, in fact, that it's still rough. See it while you can, as I'm finishing up the inking today! UPDATE: Inked strip is up.

In training: becoming a runner again.

An old friend of mine and I are on a quest: to run the 2010 Grandma's Marathon (Two Harbors to Duluth, Minnesota) and live to tell the tale.

We have begun training and the next run is this afternoon.
