I-35W Bridge Collapse

The I-35W bridge over the Mississippi in Minneapolis collapsed yesterday evening around the end of rush hour (8/1). It just fell to the ground. At this point they are still assessing the human cost. Thankfully, no one I know happened to be on the bridge when it fell to pieces.

My heart goes out to the families and friends of those who were on the bridge.

I would like to think that this would serve as a loud wake-up call to the state that our infrastructure needs attention. I don't think it's too much to ask that our bridges don't fall out from under us. Get the priorities straight. We're worried about the paint job when the transmission is crapping out, the oil needs changing and the tires are thin.

Thanks to all who helped those in need, and who continue to.

Good luck,

What a crazy thing huh? Luckily everyone I know is ok too. I used to take that bridge everyday from Reelworks!

It was great seeing you at the con bro! One of the highlights for me! 6 YEARS! Wow!
